Vacation is a luxury that most of us loved to enjoy especially during Holiday Season and summer.

Yes, carrying cash on your wallet is a must. You do not want to handover your credit card to a bell boy, right? You never know there will be some restaurants or places that do accept cash only and not credit card.

Don’t take off on your next travel adventure without making sure you packed the appropriate travel necessities. You need to be well prepared so that you can enjoy your travels and not be worrying over the things you forgot to bring that you needed for your travels.

Travel Destination – Buffalo Bill Ranch Historical Park, Nebraska – N.A. Rubin

The park features the home and ranch of the famed showman scout William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody, Buffalo Bill Ranch at North Platte that recaptures the life and career of the famed Pony Express rider, Army scout and buffalo hunter turned showman through artifacts and written documents

William Frederick Cody (1846-1917), American hero, was his real name, but before his interesting life was over everyone knew him as ‘Buffalo Bill’. He was one of the most colorful characters of the Old West that is recorded in the Hall of Fame.

Cody was born in Iowa, but in his early years his family moved to the State of Kansas moving into a large log cabin on land that they had staked there. Later, through contacts, at the age of fourteen, Cody became a rider for the Pony Express riding hard the trails to deliver the US mail. Cody got his nickname because of his work as a buffalo hunter for the railroad building the first transcontinental railroad. Buffalo Bill, as he was called at that period, claim to have killed 4,2890 buffalo in on eighteen month period. (Despite his image as a rough-hewn outdoorsman, Buffalo Bill pushed for the rights of the Native Americans. In addition, despite his history of killing bison, he even supported their conservation by speaking out against hide-hunting and pushing for a hunting season

He served as an army scout in various campaigns against the Native Americans during the next four years. For a while, Buffalo Bill toured eastern cities as an actor in a play about scouts of the Wild West, but his performances didn’t draw in the audiences so he returned a bit older and wiser in 1876 to scouting, a work he was cut out. A series of popular books were written about his adventures; they were among the first ‘dime novels.

Buffalo Bill hankered to return back to show business and in 1883 he formed his own group, the famous ‘Wild West Show’, which appealed to the audiences in the Eastern cities of the USA. It was an immense success, featuring amongst the cowboys and Indians in a Wild West display, Annie Oakley, a woman sharpshooter, and the famous Indian Chief Sitting Bull. The show traveled to all the Eastern Coast and crossed the Atlantic to thrill audiences in European cities. Audiences were thrilled by demonstrations of trick riding, sharp shooting, and fake Indian battles with plenty of whoops and simulated scalping. But the main attraction was Buffalo Bill who was always the center of attraction in the performances. His beard, white hat, and fringed leather jacket became symbols of the western frontier of the United States during that period of history.

To understand life of the man called ‘Buffalo Bill’ one should visit the home of famed showman and buffalo hunter north at La Platte, Nebraska. The house was built during the Cody’s profitable venture, the Wild West Show, and money was not spared by him in its construction and furnishing and of maintaining the surrounding ranch. The park encompasses twenty-five acres of the of the original 4,00 acres that Cody owned; Buffalo Bill’s Ranch, known as Scout’s Rest, became a state historical park in 1965. One of the exciting things about traveling is how inexpensive almost everything is. However, most backpackers always tend to spend too much money without even thinking how they can travel on a budget. As an alternative to expensive restaurants, you may opt to eat at food stalls or purchase foods from cheap food vendors. However, be very careful when selecting a place to eat and make sure to check the food before purchasing it. To save money and time, you may consider asking the help of a travel agent to arrange a budget travel package for you. Most travel agents are connected with hotels and airlines and are capable of giving you discounted airfares and hotel accommodations. They are experts who can give you promotional travel packages and travel suggestions to make your vacation more exciting and enjoyable.

If you’ll be traveling on land, then it is wise to take local transport, such as train and bus, instead of taking arranged transport with VIP buses or minibuses. Jaipur is an important tourist city situated in Indian state of Rajasthan. This is capital city of Rajasthan, popularly known as the ‘pink city of India’. Jaipur, the most attractive and charming place, is any tourist’s delight. The city was founded in 1727 AD by one of the greatest rulers of the Kachhawaha family, King Sawai Jai Singh. The pink color was used at the time of constructing the place to create an impression of red sandstone buildings of Mughal cities. It is wonderful travel destination. It reflects the charm and grandeur of historical past of Rajasthan. The city is dotted with numerous tourist places, which is enough to entertain and amuse tourists. Jaipur is famous for massive forts and palaces, temples & monument and unique culture. Let us explore the attractions of the pink city:-

Jaigarh Fort – Jaigarh Fort is one of the most spectacular monuments in Rajasthan. Jaigarh fort is better known as Victory Fort. What makes it all the more appealing, is its location being located on a hilltop, it has become irresistibly beautiful an arena absolutely fit to explore the adjacent scenario. This fortress is one of the few hard-core fortresses and military structures of medieval India that are well preserved and are almost intact. This fort has palaces, granary, well-planned cannon foundry, several temples, a tall tower and giant mounted cannon known as Jaivan. Jaivan is believed to be the largest cannon in the world.

City Palace – The City Palace of Jaipur Made by Raja Jai Singh 2, the City Palace Complex occupies about 1/7th of the walled city. The magnificent brass gateway to the main palace building opens into a courtyard that overlooks the Mubarak Mahal, now housing the textile section of the Raja Sawai Man Sigh 2 Museum. A blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture that rules over most Rajasthani historic monument is also visible here. The palace is dotted with several courtyards and gardens providing a relief to the palatial structures like the Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Badal Mahal, Sri Goivnd Dev temple, etc. The huge silver water vessels displayed at the Diwan-e-Khas recorded in the Guiness Book.

Govind Dev Ji Temple – The Govind Dev Ji Temple is housed in the City Palace complex of Jaipur and is a must visit attraction for devotees and tourists alike. The Govind Dev Ji Temple is the place where visitors can find enshrined an image of Lord Krishna. It is believed that this idol was brought all the way from Vrindavan and installed in Jaipur by the celebrated king, Sawai Jai Singh. Ever since, the royal family has worshiped Lord Krishna as its patron deity. The Govind Dev Ji Temple was built in 1890 with the donation money received from Raja Man Singh.

Hawa Mahal – The Hawa Mahal built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the Hawa Mahal or the palace of breeze is a part of the Jaipur City Palace complex. Sporting the Rajput meets Mughal style of architecture that characterizes the city. This building has 953 windows in the front giving it a honeycombed look. The windows were originally made to facilitate the royal ladies forbidden to go outdoors to have a view of the street. The cool breeze circulating through this keeps the building cool and has lent the building its name. Un grupo de 19 empresas colombianas apoyadas por Proexport representa la oferta turística nacional en ITB, la feria más grande del mundo en este segmento, que se desarrolla en Berlín, Alemania, de 10 a 14 de marzo de 2010. La feria recibe anualmente cerca de 180 mil visitantes, entre los que se encuentran 108 mil personas que conforman el público final y 10 mil expositores de 180 países del mundo.
